How do you bring Wayfinder Family Services’ mission to life?
Working in the Special Education School as a teacher prepares me to help my students face life’s challenges. We help our students practice functional life skills on a daily basis so they will be able to meet their own future needs and become more independent.
What does being a Wayfinder mean to you?
It means finding a way by any means necessary. You have to do what you have to do to press forward. It’s important to overcome challenges!
Can you share one of your favorite Wayfinder moments?
Our community outings with our students are the best moments ever. We have the opportunity to join our students as they experience new places, taste new foods, try new activities and have fun.
