Regional Center Referral Information for Early Intervention Program

Wayfinder’s early intervention program provides a wide range of services for young children, birth to age 3, with visual impairments or other disabilities in Southern California. These services also help families become successful advocates for their child’s education and care.

  • Vision stimulation for children with visual impairments
  • Infant stimulation for children with multiple disabilities
  • Functional Vision Assessment, OREGON Assessment and DAYC-2 Assessment
  • Parent education supporting parent-child relationships and family advocacy skills
  • Specialists available to attend medical visits with families
  • Family support groups, play dates, respite care, family camp and other events for families to meet and learn from one another
  • Coordination with family’s other service providers to provide support
  • Services in English and Spanish in all regions
