As the living skills specialist for Wayfinder’s Hatlen Center, Joyce Lerner teaches young adults who are blind or visually impaired to carry out their day-to-day living activities independently.
Lerner holds a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film, a master’s in special education and a rehabilitative services credential in orientation and mobility from San Francisco State University. She is also certified by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals.
