Tanya Fontenot, MPH, LCSW

Tanya Fontenot joined Lilliput, now a part of Wayfinder Family Services, in 2010.  Tanya has been a licensed clinician since 2007 and has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, families and individuals in a variety of private and non-profit settings.  She has been active in the planning, implementation, and administration of the agency’s many programs and services in Northern California including the implementation of the early intervention/prevention programs in several counties.

Tanya oversees Post Adoptions Services, Community Mental Health, and our Youth Empowerment Services (YES!) in Northern California. Her specialties include a solid understanding of trust-based parenting, adoption, kinship care and the effects of trauma on children.  Tanya is committed to providing quality customer service and ensuring best practice utilizing a trauma-informed approach with the children and families we serve. Tanya completed a dual Master’s Degree in Social Work and Public Health at Tulane University in 2001.
